Women of Will
A bar wench and a veteran actor meet at a pub, and bring to life the women of Shakespeare.
Inspired by Tina Packer’s groundbreaking book, Women of Will is a witty, moving and uplifting new play celebrating the women at the heart of Shakespeare’s life and work.
When aspiring drama student Ava meets seasoned actor Jack during a pub shift, an unlikely friendship sparks. As Ava prepares for a crucial audition, the pair bring some of the Bard’s most iconic and lesser-known characters to life. Blending humour and heart, Women of Will offers a fresh take on the women who populated Shakespeare’s plays and shaped his world.
