American Psychedelia is a 4 x 45-minute documentary series that follows people at the center of a cultural turning point as psychedelics move from the underground into mainstream American life. Anchored by intimate vérité scenes, each episode profiles characters driving change—policymakers and treatment pioneers, athletes and facilitators, founders and executives, and community builders.
Set amid federal moves to fast‑track the legalization of psychedelics and surging public and commercial interest, the series blends on‑the‑ground reporting with personal journeys to ask how access, institutions, and cultural stories will shape psychedelics’ impact on wellbeing, meaning, and American society.
