Governor Culbert Olson- A Man Ahead of his Time
Our historic film documentary is about California history and the late Governor Culbert L. Olson (1939-1943). Invoking Governor Olson today is not about nostalgia. It is about recognizing that the same dark forces he faced—economic injustice, racism, extremism, and the temptation to compromise liberty in the name of security—are still with us. His accomplishments and contradictions offer both inspiration and warning for anyone who aspires to lead California, or the country, through this new era.
