Alexes's mind buried his horrific past but now it is catching up with him so he is ready to uncover the missing pieces of his past to stand a chance.
ROMPE /CABEZAS is a film centered on childhood sexual abuse and the long-term impact of such trauma. Protagonist Alexes is a survivor of childhood abuse and has lost most of his memories through dissociation, a response to trauma. Now as an adult, he is ready to uncover the missing pieces in hopes of completing the puzzle of his past. ROMPE /CABEZAS tells the powerful story of Alexes’ journey and works to create a lasting impact on the conversation surrounding survivors and silence culture.
