Kastro: Rebel Saint
KASTRO: Rebel Saint is a cinematic documentary that immerses us in the unbelievable life and work of Suleiman Dakdouk, widely known as KASTRO, a political activist, artist, and rebel humanitarian in Greece who has survived and thrived beyond all odds, only to give it all up, dedicating his life to bringing dignity and self-sustainability to refugees.
KASTRO: REBEL SAINT is a documentary following the unbelievable life and work of Suleiman Dakdouk, widely known as Kastro. Kastro is a rebel humanitarian and local hero in Athens, Greece, who uses his activism and humanitarianism to support refugees. Kastro’s story is one of resilience and selflessness, giving up everything to devote his life to helping others. From supporting refugees to regain self-sufficiency through farming to providing them with medical and educational resources, it is clear that Kastro will not take no for an answer and will leave no human being behind. KASTRO: REBEL SAINT tells the story of this incredible work while highlighting Kastro’s joy and fulfillment from what he does.
