On the Block (BB on the Block) is a feature documentary that follows a group of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including Down syndrome and autism, as they take the leap into independent living.

With unprecedented access and a vérité approach, the film captures the raw, unscripted reality of what it means to build a life, finding work, forming relationships, managing conflict, and discovering purpose. Equal parts comedic and deeply emotional, the film challenges assumptions about ability, autonomy, and what it means to belong.

At its core, the film flips the lens: instead of asking how these individuals fit into our world, it invites us into theirs, and reveals a richer, more connected way of living.
