June Sundowner feat. Seablood

Sundowners are our favorite Kenyan-borrowed summertime tradition -- drinks, music, and phenomenal people gathering to toast to a beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean and learn more about creative activism.

We're excited to feature our Creative Activist Program (CAP) project, Be Relentless  - a documentary that follows Norma Bastidas on her journey to break the record for the longest triathlon, 3,762 miles from Cancún, Mexico to Washington, D.C. Her goal being to educate the world about sexual violence and human trafficking, to empower surviveres, and inspire action to end this modern-day incarnation of slavery.

Seablood started from late night jam sessions on the kitchen floor, traveling South African seas & Hawaiian islands. Their goal is to move and inspire people with their music, bringing hope to those with their heads down. EXCLUSIVE EP RELEASE AT THE EVENT!

Tigers in the Sky  --folk-pop duo from Long Beach, CA via Hawaii

Tigers in the Sky is a DIY folk-pop duo strumming playful tunes that embody the breezy, lush beauty of their home island.

Ten narrative and documentary features films have been named the recipients of Women in Film's 31st annual Film Finishing Fund grant program. They were selected from more than 250 feature-length narrative films, documentaries and shorts submitted from 22 countries around the world.

Dan Eldon and Journey headed back to Toronto to participate in the ScotiaBank Contact Photography festival with an exhibit of Dan's photos and journal pages at Artworld Fine Art Gallery. The exhibit was accompanied by a screening of the film on May 7th - followed by the exhibition opening and after party.
