The true story of a Glasgow neighborhood that stopped an immigration raid.
EVERYBODY TO KENMURE is a feature documentary that chronicles the morning of May 13, 2021, when a UK Home Office dawn immigration raid in Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood triggered one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. As hundreds of residents rushed to the streets to prevent the deportation of two neighbours, one man crawls under the immigration van to buy time for others to join in. Soon hundreds gathered, blocking the street in solidarity.
