Sousanna
Torn from postwar Greece, Sousanna grows up in America as her family fights to bring her home.
Sousanna is a historical drama based on the true story and book, Sousanna: The Lost Daughter. It tells the story of a five year old girl sent from post war Greece to America with the promise of a better life and an eventual return home. Instead, she is raised under a new identity, separated from her language, culture, faith, and family, while those she left behind spend decades searching for her. Spanning generations and continents, Sousanna explores the lasting impact of family separation, the struggle to reclaim identity and belonging, and the extraordinary resilience of a family that refuses to give up hope.
