The Project Gallery is a collection of projects produced by members of our fiscal sponsorship program and other Creative Visions impact media programs. This includes projects that are currently in production, as well as completed projects.
PainGap
PainGap is a new nonprofit focused on building community and awareness by telling the stories of women's chronic pain and their struggle to navigate a broken healthcare system that has failed them.
PainGap has a simple but powerful mission: To use the power of storytelling to help women who suffer from chronic pain, and those who love them, to no longer feel isolated and alone. We do this by featuring the stories of various women through art, film, photography, podcasts, music and more. Our first feature is a photoshoot of our founder, Jessica. We are currently working on our next feature which is a collaboration with Caledonia Curry, the artist known as Swoon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swoon_(artist)), to create a short film and some pieces of art that tell her unique and painful story.
