The Wind and the Song is 3 part animé series, set in Brooklyn in pre-dystopia 2016, when neuromorphic computing, also known as artificial intelligence was in its infancy. Meet Augie, an acutely sensitive neurodivergent boy of 12 whose recently deceased mother left behind a complex gift, a digital version of herself to aid her son through his formative years. Seemingly ideal at first, it’s not long before Augie spirals down a psychological abyss where dreams become delusion and nostalgia ensnares. Add to that the threat of hackers perched to poach, will Augie find his way? With the support of cybergeek heroes and a newfound inner strength he just may, and perhaps save humanity along the way.
