Behind Jobs, Gates, and Wozniak stood nine women who revolutionized classrooms, built tech giants and raised a generation on Sesame Street, Oregon Trail and Reader Rabbit — and they’re still best friends 40+ years later. The DOLS (Dirty Old Ladies of Software) is a feature documentary that uncovers the “Hidden Figures” of Silicon Valley—nine trailblazing women who revolutionized American classrooms from within tech giants like Apple, IBM, and Microsoft. While the tech industry initially dismissed education as “women’s work,” these former teachers became the essential bridge between emerging code and classroom pedagogy.
