Voices For Peace Rwanda: Youth Multimedia Storytelling Lab
Youth using film, podcast, and media to build peace and unity in Rwanda
Voices for Peace Rwanda: Youth Multimedia Storytelling Lab is a youth-led initiative based at the Nufashwa Yafasha Multimedia Center for Peace that empowers young people to use film, podcasting, photography, and digital media to tell stories of peace, reconciliation, and community transformation in Rwanda. Through hands-on training and creative production labs, the project builds the capacity of youth to become storytellers who document lived experiences of healing, unity, and social change within their communities.
The project produces short documentaries, podcasts, and digital campaigns that amplify local voices and promote dialogue across generations. These stories are shared through community screenings, radio, and online platforms, creating a growing archive of peace-focused narratives that inspire understanding, reduce division, and strengthen social cohesion.
