PROJECTS

The Next Right Thing

“Connecting children in medical need with people who can help.”

Our children come from the developing world, from countries rich in beauty and culture but currently without sufficient medical resources for their needs.

Depending on what’s most appropriate in each case we accept, we either assist with medical costs for in-country treatment or help secure life-changing medical treatment free of charge in the United States. In the cases of children accepted for treatment in the US, we assist with passport, visa, and travel expenses.

We are connectors and facilitators. Our role can be as minor as funding a $150 hernia surgery for a six year old refugee in Ghana – or coordinating with a whole host of partners to provide emergency brain surgery and expenses for a young girl traveling to the US from Nigeria.

We don’t believe in duplicating efforts or wasting time or money. We find great locally-based organizations and people doing good work in the developing world and rely on them as our eyes and ears on the ground, finding cases to refer to us. We then turn to incredible US-based non-profit organizations and hospitals to help us find free care for our kids.

Finally we bring it all together - raising funds, handling logistics, doing whatever’s needed to...

get them here,
get them better, and
get them home.

We are not a religious organization and we help kids who need us regardless of race or religion. We'd be happy to answer any further questions you might have. Just let us know.
