Hand Made Beauty

Hand Made Beauty was founded by artist / designer Diva Zappa in the hills of Los Angeles in 2002. All of the hand crafted crochet and knit designs are a fusion of Diva’s kick back feminine and chic style. Raised in Los Angeles by composer/musician father, Frank, and artist advocate mom, Gail, Diva learned to express herself creatively at an early age in all forms of the arts. Now she has ventured into fashion. Her knit and crocheted designs are one of a kind “wearable pieces of art.” All pieces are lush in color and feel. Every soft, little dress, poncho, skirt, hat and top are unique unto themselves and a glamorous interpretation of what one can do with knitting needles. Like life and her designs, Diva is constantly evolving. She lets every piece tell her what it wants to be, which often times ends up being cozy pieces pleasing to the eye and to the touch. Everyday more and more lovers of Hand Made Beauty emerge, including: Billy Bob Thornton, Kirsten Dunst, Tom Cruise, Cameron Crowe and Orlando Bloom.
