It all started

with Dan

Creative Visions is inspired by the life of Dan Eldon, a 22-year-old Reuters photojournalist who was killed in Somalia in 1993. After his death, his mother Kathy and sister Amy discovered 20 journals bursting with collages, reflecting his adventurous spirit and his life as a creative activist. A collection of Dan's journals, "The Journey is the Destination," has sparked individuals around the world to live more fully- with compassion and purpose.

Dan's mother and sister launched our foundation in 1998 to support other creative activists to use their creative spark for good. Now a feature film about Dan's life will connect and inspire individuals to believe they, too, can create more purposeful and joyous lives.
