Since 2006 Monique has periodically helped to redesign and develop the Creative Visions website. Being passionate about the creative power of media, the expansive experience of travel and communications with other cultures, Creative Visions' mission resounded with her desire to create alternative approaches to aid the alleviation of suffering.

Raised and educated in the Netherlands, Monique grew up in a family active in the post-war reconstruction of Holland. Since her father was the mayor of a town destroyed in the war, she participated in international exchanges with other European cities and with students from newly independent developing nations. Her family promoted cultural events for artists, writers and poets, and she accompanied her family to many events and on many travels.

Her development as an artist was shaped by her education at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Sint Joost in Breda, The Netherlands, where she specialized in printmaking and book design. After she graduated she moved to the United States and continued the art of printmaking.

After marriage and raising a family, Monique worked in publishing for the Saraydarian Institute, and then studied at the Sedona Center for Arts and Technology to learn the newest applications in digital media arts. She taught Graphic Design and technology at Yavapai College and Northern Arizona University. She started her web design studio, Graphics 360, in 2001 where she helps creative people tell their inspiring stories and showcases creative and philanthropic endeavors in which they are engaged.
