Carrie Maloney joined the Creative Visions Foundation team in 2006. Originally hired as a consultant, Carrie quickly moved up the ladder to her current position of Executive Vice President, which she's held since 2007.

Carrie develops and manages CVF’s projects and programs with a special concentration on strategic marketing and fundraising. Prior to joining CVF, Carrie worked in a range of for profit and non profit organizations. After working in sales and marketing at Bloomberg LP, Carrie launched Muse Design and Consulting LLC to focus on private label luxury designs for over 36 brands including Lands’ End and Starwood Hotels. During this time she also developed her own boutique line of handbags, MUSE SF, which sold in over 80 stores internationally.

Carrie’s interest in social justice and civic participation began at an early age when she volunteered with her family at Store-Front, a Harlem based program with the goal of upgrading the quality of life for inner city children. Then, at the Purnell School for girls in Pottersville, NJ, Carrie involved herself in community service projects aiding poverty stricken families in West Virginia. After graduating with a BA in Sociology and Art History from Lynchburg College, Carrie worked in a range of capacities in the nonprofit sector, from early childhood education to Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics to Amnesty International’s campaign Stop Violence against Women.

Carrie serves as a mentor for Ladies who Launch, a program to support entrepreneurial women, has been a featured speaker at the “Women’s Ways of Leadership” conference held at the Ethel Walker School which inspires emerging leaders in all-girls boarding schools through out the country. In addition, Carrie can be found as an Associate Professor teaching design at City College of San Francisco where she has taught since 2006.
