Dear Friends,
Amy and I are honored to announce that we being awarded the 2009 Children's Arts Humanitarian Award by Young Audiences New York for our our work with the Creative Visions Foundation that uses arts and media to raise awareness and inspire positive change. Young Audiences New York is one of the leading arts education providers to the New York City Public Schools. This amazing organization mirrors the efforts of the Creative Visions Foundation and we are thrilled to be working with them. As a former art teacher I know how critical Arts education is to the development of children. Now, more than ever before, as arts programs are being slashed due to economic constraints, it is important to support the efforts of organizations that are working to continue programs that will prepare leaders of tomorrow. Please join Amy and me at the March 9th Children's Arts Awards celebration and help Young Audiences New York continue to inspire children to use their creativity to change the world around them.
