Lyme Trials: Moonshot
CAP

Lyme disease is the fastest growing infectious disease in the United States. Upon its discovery in 1975, Lyme disease sparked a debate that has been escalating for past 40 years.

On one side of the debate, patients talk of a life altering illness. On the other side, some of the highest ranking medical institutions in the US say that Lyme Disease is easy to diagnose and easy to cure. The Lyme Trials hopes to ignite a national conversation about Lyme that will lead to exposing the truth about the disease.

Both directors of the film have been diagnosed with Lyme Disease. They will journey across the country to meet with scientists, doctors, activists and policymakers on both sides, turning the camera on themselves as they analyze the history and science.
