Each member gets his or her own page on the CVF website! It’s your space to post photos, project summaries, film trailers and any other information about your initiative. We’ll also set up a PayPal link so people can donate specifically to your project.


Invitation to Annual Creative Activist Summit at the Dan Eldon Center

Our annual CAP members gathering is at the Dan Eldon Center for Creative Activism in Malibu, CA. It’s a great opportunity to share ideas and resources with other like-minded folks and to communicate how the Creative Visions’ network can help support your project. You’ll get inspired for sure, you’ll probably meet some new friends, you’ll most likely get some good advice, and you may even get a tan.


Access to CAP’s Exclusive Online Social Networking Community

The online hub is currently under development with Ning. As soon as it’s launched you’ll have exlcusive access to an invaluable network of experts and creative activists in the media and arts industry from which to draw and share resources. You’ll also be informed about events and online networking opportunities that may support your strategies for funding projects, distributing productions, or expertise in working overseas.

We’ll brag about you in our email newsletter to our entire mailing list and will always look out for ways to incorporate your latest news and events into ours.


Access to Development Tools and Fundraising Resources

For starters, check out the Creative Activist Toolkit. Created by Charles Tsai, this gem of a booklet is loaded with tons of helpful ideas about how to turn your idea into action with measurable impact. Also, lots of helpful information about fundraising and applying for grants.


Networking Events

Since Creative Visions is headquartered in Los Angeles, most of our networking events are local or in New York City. However, because our members are global, we do our best to connect individuals via the email as much as we can.


Access to Pro-Bono Creative Visions Mentors

They are hugely talented professionals and because they believe in the power of creative activism they want to donate their time and expertise to help you. You let us know what you’re looking for in mentor and we’ll do our best to find you a match. See a list of our current incredible mentors here.


Discounted Products, Resources and Event Space

Creative Visions has partnered with a number of different companies that will offer their products at a discounted rate to CAP members. Things like film equipment, printing services, event planning, as well as discounted rental space for your events at the Dan Eldon Center in Malibu.


Blog for the Huffington Post

Creative Visions has partnered with the Huffington Post to bring hopeful stories to their GOOD NEWS section. CAP members have the opportunity to submit blogs about their projects to be posted online.
