The Creative Visions Foundation is inspired by the life of Dan Eldon, an artist, adventurer and activist killed in Somalia in 1993 while covering the conflict as a photojournalist for Reuters News Agency. He was 22. Launched by his mother, Kathy Eldon, a former journalist and filmmaker, and his sister, Amy Eldon Turteltaub, a documentary producer, CVF is a publicly supported 501(c)3 organization that supports “creative activists” like Dan - who use thought and imagination to catalyze positive change in our world.
