CREATIVE ACTIVISM

Creative Activists:

These are the changemakers.  People who turn their ideas into action.  A Creative Activist is any individual or organization who uses media, the arts, and technology to create awareness of important issues in the world and affect positive change.

Dan Eldon Fellows:

These are our overachievers. Dan Eldon Fellows are Creative Activists who CVF recognizes for having excelled in the development and measurable impact of their projects.  These individuals have put cameras in the hands of the illiterate and given voices to the women of India.  They have lived on a dollar a day and fought to create sustainable solutions.  CVF gives them additional support and funding, while they give the world positive change.

Alumni:

These Creative Activists have either completed their projects or moved on to create their own non-profits.  They’ll always be a part of the CVF Community, and we’re proud to be a part of their story.  You can find a lot of their work in our Media Room.

Success Stories:

These are our proudest stories of impact.  Creative Activism in action at its best.

Testimonials:

The words from the wise and creative.  Hear it from the mouths of the Activists themselves and get a taste of what Creative Visions Foundation and Creative Activism is all about.

Mentors:

CVF’s Creative Activist Mentoring Program matches professionals from the real world with individual Creative Activists who share like-minded interests and causes.  Each CVF mentor commits a certain amount of time per month to mentoring his/her Creative Activist – be it through emails, phone calls, or an afternoon at CVF’s center on the beach in Malibu.  These relationships have been happening for years within the Dan Eldon Center, and now we’re stretching these connections past our four walls.

Films/Books/Art:

Take a look inside to get a better feel for our Creative Activists, their projects, and their impact.  The media room houses all productions and pieces of work produced by our Creative Activists.  Browse the collection, request a screening, or purchase some work.
